Quick answers
- What it is: an add-in inside PowerPoint with ready-made slides, images, icons and GIFs.
- Price: $19/month billed annually or $29/month billed monthly.
- Trial: 7 days free on the PRO plan.
- Needs: Microsoft PowerPoint installed.
- Best for: people who build decks often and want pre-designed slides that follow their brand colours.
How it works
You install the add-in and it appears inside PowerPoint. From there you pick slides from the template library, drop in stock images or icons, and switch the colour scheme to your brand with one click. The seller's pitch is that you spend time on the content of the presentation instead of on formatting. Your own logos and images can be stored in the add-in, with 1 GB of space on the PRO plan.
Pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Works inside PowerPoint, so files stay standard .pptx | Requires PowerPoint; no use without it |
| Large library of slides, images and icons in one place | Asset totals differ across the seller's own page |
| Brand colour sync and commercial license included | Subscription pricing; the monthly plan costs about 50% more than annual |
| Free trial and discounts for non-profits and education | AI generation features are not clearly described on the main plan |
Frequently asked questions
- What is ExpertSlides?
- An add-in that runs inside Microsoft PowerPoint. It gives you a library of ready-made slides, stock images, icons and GIFs, and applies your brand colours to them, so you build decks from pre-designed pieces instead of from a blank slide.
- How much does ExpertSlides cost?
- On September 28, 2026, the PRO plan was $19 per month billed annually, or $29 per month billed monthly. Both list a 7-day free trial, a commercial license and cancellation at any time. Prices change, so confirm on the order page.
- Is there a free version?
- The seller advertises a 7-day free trial of the PRO plan. Its FAQ also asks whether the tool is free to use; check the answer and the trial terms on the site before entering payment details.
- Does it work on Mac and with Office 365?
- The seller's FAQ covers Windows, macOS and Microsoft Office 365 compatibility, and the company says it is a certified Microsoft 365 partner. Because it is a PowerPoint add-in, you need PowerPoint installed; it is not a standalone app.
- Is it an AI presentation generator?
- The main sales page describes a template, image and icon library inside PowerPoint. The site menu also links to an "AI Presentation Maker" and a pitch deck tool. If automatic text-to-slide generation is what you need, check exactly which features your plan includes during the free trial.
- How many assets does it include?
- The PRO plan lists 3,000+ PRO slides, 13+ million stock images, 600,000+ icons and 1+ million GIFs, plus 1 GB of storage for your own logos and images. Other sections of the same page quote different totals (3.2 million images, 2.8 million icons), so treat the numbers as approximate.
- Are there discounts?
- The seller offers special pricing for non-profits and educational institutions such as schools and universities, applied after verification.
- How do cancellations and refunds work?
- The plans say the subscription can be cancelled at any time. The seller publishes a separate cancellation and refunds policy on its site; read it before the trial ends, since a trial that is not cancelled normally converts into a paid plan.
